Start today the path of the winner of the sixth “Aldo Sassi” research check for young graduates in Sport Science, an initiative promoted by Fondazione Giuseppina Mai of Confindustria in collaboration with Mapei Sport. The evaluation process provided for a first phase of candidacy analysis, followed by an oral interview to which the four best candidates were admitted. Following the selection, he became the winner of the research grant dott. Luca Cattaneo, who will undertake a research project in the area of ​​exercise physiology – motor science, entitled: “Acute training effect with peripheral blood flow restriction in soccer and cycling”. The theme of the research was presented on May 27 at the 7th Mapei Sport Research Center Conference. The project involving footballers and cyclists will be conducted by Mapei Sport in collaboration with Nicola Maffiuletti currently director of the Neuromuscular Research Laboratory at the Shulthess Clinic in Zurich and the results will be presented at the 8th Mapei Sport Conference scheduled in 2018.
