Sport Service Mapei was founded in 1996 to support the athletes of the MAPEI professional cycling team, which for a decade have dominated the scene of international cycling, as well as its satellite teams, through scientific reason and a precise ethical approach.
The activity of the center is based around three important areas:
Assistance for sport through: analysis and optimization of performance factors, visualization of condition, training plans, identification of needs for health activities, biomechanical analysis of sporting action.
Applied reserch in sports as a fundamental part of the innovative and rational approach to the numerous problems that sports at all level pose.
Sports culture
Revealing confirmed scientific knowledge to contribute to an ever more rational approach to sports and health activity. This is the way that allows better results, not only from a competitive point of view, but also, and most importantly, in caring for health and physical well being.
